Will has a weekly class called Wee Scholars which is a co-op class that I attend with him. I am so glad that he gets to play w/ messy shaving cream at school and not at home!
Will is the kid that never wants to participate and tells his teacher that her activities are boring, Circle Time is at the bottom of his list! In Will's words, "Why can't I just play the entire time, circle time is so boring"
I have my work cut out for me when he starts school!
Messy is so fun when you are 3!!!!

Looks fun. They used shaving cream at our elementary school (I am sure others too) to clean the desks. The kids had so much fun on desk cleaning day.

My son did shaving cream math and had a ball!!!! When it is fun, they learn more!!!
He's too cute! My lil guy is the other way around. Will avoid touching shaving cream at all costs, but loves circle time.
Aren't kids surprising sometimes? My 6 yr old HATES coloring--I thought all kids liked to color!
Our kiddos had this project at ECFE year after year. They would come home wanting to get into everything! Better there than at home LOL! Looks like fun was had!

I remember being 3 and I didn't like circle time either. I just wanted to sit in a corner and read my own book. Some things never change. :o)
I loved using shaving cream in my classroom, it is SO therapeutic (no plug intended!)

We do the same thing at our Preschool-like place. AJ loves it! And he also wants to keep playing thru circle time.
I used to work in a day care and the shaving cream days were always a hit...circle time not so much.
That definitely looks like a fun mess. I'm with you on the better at school than home thing. I have to force myself to let Jake do anything messy. I know it's good for him, but hate the cleanup.
All children should have the opportunity to get messy. And I'm with you on the "boring". My child's grown now and is now learning the "boring" routine with his own son. Ahh...karma. LOL
