What is this?

We were driving the other day and saw this? I have no idea exactly what it is. We were near the University of Michigan though. Does anyone know exactly what it is? Maybe an electric car?

GpawLP said...: Yep it's the University of Michigan's Sun Racer, it is a on going project done by the undergrad engineering students. It is part of a major competitive effort between universities for innovation in engineering science. By the way UofM has done very well in competition against other schools!!
