A visit to Greenfield Village

We are so lucky to live so close to Greenfield Village.  We spent the afternoon there and Will had the opportunity to make candles, which if you didn't know is a very long process.  I have a new appreciation for candle making.  If you are very in Michigan Greenfield Village is an attraction you shouldn't miss.  Visit their site Greenfield Village for all you can see and do!

You Capture: Togetherness

Will and I at the grounds of The Henry Ford Estate.

I treasure our family outings and the above photos are from a day we spent out for lunch at The Henry Ford Estate and a afternoon at Greenfield Village. What did you capture?

You Capture: Flowers

I think I would be pretty content if this was my garden but it isn't. These flowers are from the Cotswold Cottage at Greenfield Village. Aren't they beautiful?

What did you C-A-P-T-U-R-E?

You Capture: Outside

We spent the day with some very good friends at The Henry Ford and hit just about every attraction they had. We hit a play, rode the carousel, got to pet a horse, saw some beautiful flowers, had lolli pops and ice cream. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Why does summer have to go by so fast yet winter sticks around for too long?
