Aloha Friday! If you had a million dollars....

Do you ever daydream and think about what you would do if you hit the lotto or came into a lot of money, say millions? I do this from time to time and the one thing top on my list is a beach house where my view would be this. I would love to wake up every morning to this view from my bedroom. This picture was taken on a vacation we took many years ago on Ann Maria Island, Florida, one of our favorite spots to vacation. There is something captivating about the ocean. A girl can dream right?

So here are my questions:

If you came into millions what would be top on your list?

If I did move to the ocean do you think I would take it for granted and some days not even step foot on the beach?

I've thought about that many times. I would buy a piece of property (not too far from the mountains and the beach) that would be big enough to have a little house for everyone in my family JUST IN CASE they needed it. Then I would build a house for me (not too big because I don't like really big - scary at night and too much to clean) that had a huge pantry so I could fill it full of home canned food :o)

I'm a very simple woman.

Stopping by to give a little blog ♥ on this Fabulous Friday!

A home of my own :)

I live on the coast and I almost never set foot on the beach, but I do walk along the path at the beach quite often.

Definitely my dream house!!! And while I DO LOVE the beach I'm not sure that my hubby and I would agree on putting our dream house AT the beach. SO, maybe I'd have 2 dream houses! LOL

I would take a very long vacation and then pay off my house and remodel it.

I think I would buy a cottage at the beach and let it be "open" for our family and friends. My sister-in-law had a wealthy aunt who did that down in St. Petersburg...she even kept it stocked with all kinds of food, drinks and even cigars! What a surprise that was. I'd like to do that. PS: I've lived at the beach and yes, some days did not got near it...but it calls to you & I probably went at least once a week just to listen to the waves:)

IF i came into millions, i'd invest it so that my family can live comfortably on the monthly profit/interest. That way I know our NOW is taken cared of as well as my kids future.

Now, if you move to this beautiful place i'd think it'll be part of your routine to spend a few minutes at the beach. It is just too tempting, don't you think? Well, i would... then in that case we will be neighbors! lol

Have a happy weekend! :-)

I'd put it in the bank and live free off the interest for the rest of my life, in an off shore account to avoid taxes of course!

I would pay everything off, invest some, start a business, and help others. It would be very rewarding. Feel free to send some this way. :)

If I did win, I would email or call (depending on the time of day it is) over to Iraq where the hubs is a contractor and tell him he never has to work again. He deserves it after spending 24 years in the military, crappy jobs after and 2.5 years in Iraq as a contractor. That's what I would want, then I'd give to charity.

I'd definitely invest some, though the way the market is going these days, under the mattress is probably the safest place for it!
And I'd finally buy a home and add a recording studio for Jeff so that he could start his own business. Oh, and then I'd travel all over the world. (Gee, hope we are talking about LOTS of millions cause these days you need it!!)
Happy Friday and have a good weekend, Kristen! :)

I would pay off my bills and keep it a secret!!! No way would anyone be happy for me!! Winning money ruins friendships. The lottery winners all have sad stories.

I found you at the mommy blogger club!!! Excellent. I clicked follow :-)

I"d have to think that your right about that one. I don't live to close to the beach I luv walking next to it and the fresh air is great but I don't like the water so it wouldn't be a big things for me

thanks for coming :)

What a fun post! It made me realize how little I do of this anymore. I love the beach too. I would want something simple on the beach, a college fund for each of my kids and actually a new home for my family with a bigger closet for me. ;)

My initial thought was yes after a while you would probably take living on the beach for granted. But than I realized it was kind of a downer thought. The beach is so tranquil so I am sure it would have its own powers over you.
