I don't know about you but I LOVE comments! In the blogosphere it is affirmation that someone actually likes your blog so much that they take time to leave you a note! I think most bloggers love to receive comments!

This is a great idea. I am not very good at doing the weekly themed posts because I lack the ability to stay consistent. This one I may have to try though.
