CSN Bunn Thermal Carafe Review

One of the things I like to do throughout the morning is drink coffee and I don't like to chug it I like to savor it and enjoy each sip throughout the entire morning. The problem I have is that my timer for my coffee pot warmer shuts off after two hours so by the 2nd cup I usually have to warm it up in the microwave which isn't optimal. I put my coffee in the carafe at 8am and drank throughout the morning and my coffee was piping hot. And then at 2pm I decided to see if it was still hot and it was so I had another cup, yes it was still hot at 2pm, 6 hours later! That night when I was cleaning up our kitchen I was pouring the remaining coffee out and it was still warm! What I also like about the carafe is that it is really easy to clean and does not leak when pouring. I have had other carafes that leak all over the kitchen counter when pouring. In my opinion this is one fabulous carafe and it kept the coffee hot way longer than I had expected.

Bubble, Bubbles and more Bubbles...

It has been a long, cold winter in Michigan but today we broke out the bubbles and had oh so much fun. The birds were chirping, and it is very, very muddy.

I (heart) not having to wear a winter jacket, cracking open our windows just a wee bit and the abundance of sunshine. This may be a tease for now but I will take it!

We have had a bit of a heatwave this week in Michigan, 56 degrees in March is a pleasant surprise. We have also had an abundance of sunshine and I love how the sun shines in our front door, apparently I am not the only one, as you can see Will and Kane are soaking up the sun, pure sweetness if you ask me.

A sneak peek....

I don't know about you but I am a fan of online shopping. I am not sure what I would do without this resource at my fingertips. When I was asked to take a peek at CSN stores I had no idea what I was in for. CSN has 200+ stores and they offer everything from items for baby, the home, the kitchen and much more. One thing that is particular interest to me is their kids bedding since we are looking for new bedding for Will. I love their Freckles Motor Club bedding pictured above.

What are some of your favorite childhood books?

I (heart) me time...

I (heart) getting my hair done and it is often the only "me time" I truly get every 6 weeks or so. I look forward to sitting at their big process table (you know where the magic happens and my high-lites cook) and grab a cup of Aveda comforting team and some magazines, People Style Watch is always good! I usually don't make eye contact with the other women since I really want to be selfish and have this time all to myself!


What do you do when you need some time to yourself?

The other day I was telling my brother that Will and I made a snowman and he modestly told me they he made one with my nephew and that he would send me a picture.Didn't he make a great snowman!!! I have a new appreciation for making snowmen! At least I can say I made a snowman this year, that is if mine qualifies.

Something I said I would never do...

I have learned in life to NEVER say Never. I once said I would NEVER be a stay at home mom (technically I guess I am a WAHM), boy was I wrong about that one. Since becoming a Mom I have learned to Never say Never under any circumstances, since I do many things I said I would NEVER do.

Question: Tell me about something you said you would NEVER do.

I (heart) winter comforts...

I (heart) long hot showers, sometimes it is the only private time I get, I know they are bad for the skin but I (heart) long hot showers!



I (Heart) Aveda Hand Relief, in my opinion it is the best hand lotion on the market, a little pricey but a little goes a long way and I will not use anything else.
When my Ugg slippers bit the dust I just couldn't bring myself to paying $90 for slippers so I purchased a knock off pair by, Bear Paw Shoes for $20 at Famous Footwear and love them, they keep my feet toasty warm. ( I have them on my feet right now!)



Rosebud Salve is so great for anything from lips, cuticles and dry knuckles. I also have the mint and strawberry lip balms versions, love this stuff!
