Just a reminder that March's featured group is MI-Regap. Regap as I have said before is a wonderful group that rescues retired greyhounds. When we are out walking Kane people stop us and ask us if Kane was rescued and we always make sure we tell them about greyhounds and how they too can rescue a greyhound.

The Hound Lover Necklace

The Hound Lover necklace has been designed for MI-Regap which is a group that rescues greyhounds. 10% of proceeds will be donated directly to MI-Regap to help rescue more hounds!!

The Hound Lover necklace is a 16 mm or .64 inch sterling silver disc that has the words "Hound Lover" hand stamped the necklace also includes either a charm with your dogs name or a dog paw stamp. The charms hang on a 18 inch sterling silver snake chain. The letters on the discs have been blackened/antiqued to make the letters stand out. The charms will appear to be slightly tarnished/aged but have been finished with a good polish. The necklace hangs on a 18 inch sterling silver sturdy snake chain.

Artist Note: The letters on this necklace have been hand stamped one at a time, I do not use machines. The letters will not line up perfectly and this should not be considered a flaw but part of the charm.

MI-Regap!!! MI-Regap is a wonderful group dedicated to rescuing Greyhounds. Several years ago we lost our Dalmatian to cancer and decided that we really wanted to rescue a greyhound. We looked at many different rescue groups but were so impressed with the dedication this group had to finding good homes for their dogs. They spent a lot of care interviewing us to make sure we would provide a good home for Kane. I was always impressed with the greyhound breed and the more I learned about how cruel their treatment was during the racing days the more I realized we had to rescue a greyhound. Kane really is a gentle giant! He does sleep a lot but has become such an important part of our family, just make sure you aren't sitting on his bed because that he doesn't share with anyone.
