Happy Halloween Duck Dynasty Style

We kept hearing how good Duck Dynasty was and I have to say it really is that good, we are hooked!  We are catching up on past seasons. We decided to do family costumes and dress up as Duck Dynasty characters.  I think I got off easy! I am not sure I could deal with a beard like the guys of Duck Dynasty have.  Do you like to dress up?  I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween...we did ours Duck Dynasty style!

Good, Bad or Wicked?

Happy Halloween!  I love these necklaces for Halloween but my customers like to wear them year round.  Aren't they fun?  Which are you a Bad Witch, Wicked, or Good Witch.  I guess it depends on the day.  You can find the entire collection of hand stamped Witch necklaces HERE.

Betrayal, Hostages new shows already talking about canceling?

Canceled already?

Every Fall there is a host of new shows that look so promising, like Betrayal and Hostages this season.  It drives me crazy when I start really enjoying a show and then it gets canceled before it has even been given a chance.  I just read that Betrayal and Hostages have already pretty much tanked, so I guess I will delete those from my DVR.  Oh and it is just tragic to hear that Revenge isn't doing so well!

Going to stick around?

One show that I am really enjoying is The Blacklist. James Spader is perfect as the bad guy.   Now this show is promising and it looks like it is going to stick around.   It almost reminds me a bit of Alias.  The other show that I think is pretty good and even the entire family will enjoy is Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D , the ratings look good so it just may stick around.

Sometimes I think perhaps I should just wait for a show to hit Netflix so if the show tanks at least I didn't waste my time.

Umbro Soccer Shin Socks {A lifesaver}

Will has been playing soccer for many years and I always dreaded getting him ready.  Trying to get his socks and shin guards on was never an easy task and I often ended up in a full sweat trying to get them on.  I just recently discovered the Umbro Soccer Shin Socks and these have made getting ready for soccer a breeze.  The best part is they are only $10 but exclusively available at Dick's Sporting goods in stores or online.  Will has played two games with them and they seem to work like a charm and he isn't fussing with them on the field like he did with his other shin guards.  I always like to pass on things that make life a little easier.

Back 2 School!

Happy Back 2 School for everyone!  Will started a new school this year and so far is loving it.  Will tells me it only feels like he is there one hour.  I always feel like a new school year is an opportunity for new beginnings, new friends and routines.  I happen to love having routines even though by the end of the year the routines become mundane. The one thing I don't like about Back 2 school is making lunches. I am not sure why such a simple task is so annoying.  I hope everyone is having a fantastic start to the new year.

Finding Normalcy

Summer is winding down and it is time to start thinking about going back to school.  We have had such a busy summer with moving, we lost our Greyhound Kane and through it all are trying to find some normalcy.  I am pretty sure I don't want to move again any time soon, it is exhausting. Dudley and Cooper have found theirs normalcy.

Because this is what summer is all about

Isn't this what summer is all about?  Swimming and just hanging out..... well that is if you are a kid.  We are in the middle of moving so I have spent most of my summer packing and unpacking.  Hope everyone is having a great summer!

I know I complain when it is cold and complain when is hot.... I just want it to be 80 and sunny!  But I really am appreciating my flip flips in this hot weather!  And speaking of flip flops my favorite to wear are the OluKai Paniolo, they are like butter on your feet and worth the money.

Love, Peace....Flip Flops what more do you need?

New in the shop Tagua Nut necklaces

A beautiful POP of color with the Multi Colored Tagua necklace. This piece has 5 Tagua Nut's that are attached to a beautiful 18 inch chunky sterling silver chain. This necklace is a One Of A Kind as each Tagua nut is slightly different, you will receive the necklace pictured.

Tagua Nuts – also known as Vegetable Ivory are seeds that come from the tropical rainforest of South America. The seeds are sliced, dyed and polished. Each Tagua Nut is unique and has it's own variations making each a one of a kind seed. Tagua Nuts are very close to the density of animal ivory. Tagua is replacing the slaughter of mammal ivory (elephants and other) in the textile and fashion industries. In one year, one tagua palm produces as much ivory as an average female African elephant. No HARM is done to the nature and hundreds of families are employed by the Tagua nut production market. Tagua Nuts are thin, lightweight and durable.

Frankenmuth....Chicken Dinner

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Frankenmuth, Michigan There is so much to do in Frankenmuth, shopping, dining and lots of ice cream! We had a yummy chicken dinner at The Bavarian  Inn I wasn't sure I was going to like it but it was delicious..... a lot of food for the money.  Our next trip we are going to try Zehnders Chicken dinner, we hear it is very good too.  I love the charm of downtown Frankenmuth and it is great for kids too.
