Lego, Swimming and boating just about sums up Will's summer so far.  I am pretty sure this is what summer should be all about! 

The Lego even went camping...

We took our first camping trip and somehow the Lego came along too.  I think we could get rid of every other toy in the house and Will wouldn't even realize it.   Will spends hours working on his Lego creations.  I think it is a good obsession as it encourages a lot of creativity.  I will say though the Lego is taking over our house.

It is nothing ordinary to Will, in fact I think it is quite extraordinary. On any given day you can find him playing with his Lego. I think right now if he were stranded on a desert island with just Lego he would be just fine.

Will loves Lego but I think what he really loves is the Lego guys. Will often plays with his Lego while I work at the dining room table. He plays, I work and often we have some very interesting conversations. I really enjoy this time we spend together, I actually cherish it.

play, play, play, play..... sleep

Thanksgiving weekend I spent most of the weekend working on orders and hubby and Will had a blast building forts, playing with lego and reading more Dr. Seuss books than you can imagine. On Saturday night I came into the living room to find these too sound asleep. I am so glad that they can spend quality time together since I feel a little guilty that I get to work out of the house and stop when I need to and snuggle up with this little guy. I also find that sometimes I get caught up in my work and need to slow down a bit and really appreciate my time with my little guy. I think I still can't believe that it is December!
