I like the "getting ready" for school (shopping, shopping, shopping) but I don't like going back to school and the narrowing of my schedule.

The return of school is exciting because the kids are excited to get back to their friends and their normal routines.
I am excited but we homeschool so to me it means getting back into a wonderful yet still relaxed routine.

They are older and I have one 26 year old son here yet. I make him breakfast and lunch-he's a great guy, and he just bought a house. Next year he will get married and move out. Then I will be sad. I also lost a daughter, so that is awful.
