It isn't too early to start thinking about Mother's Day!

Mother's Day is just around the corner can you believe it? Over the next few weeks I will be adding some new Mother's Day designs so make sure you check back!

Mother,Mommy,Mom, Mama..... did I cover them all? As moms we get called a lot of names don't we?
The Mother,Mommy,Mom,Mama necklace is a 3/4 inch sterling silver disc that has the words "Mother,Mommy, Mom and Mama" hand stamped. The necklace also includes a peridot gemstone that has been hand wire wrapped. Both charms hang on a sterling silver 18 inch snake chain. Artist note: The letters on this disc have been hand stamped one at a time. I do not use machines. The letters will not line up perfectly and are not meant to this is part of the charm that makes your piece one of a kind. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same. The letters have been oxidized/antiqued to make them stand out it will appear to be aged or slightly tarnished but has been given a good polish.
This necklace is available at http://www.klacustomcreations.etsy.com

Have you seen these guys???

Lately Will is so into Max and Ruby. Have you seen these guys? It is a cute show about a brother and sister. Max is usually getting in trouble and Ruby is always taking care of him. The one strange thing about the show is that there is never any parents around and these guys ride the bus, explore town, go swimming, camping you name it. If you can't find it on tv Target has a few of their videos. As you can see Will had to have the Max and Ruby dolls. Check out it is a cute show.

The Charity for February is......

I am pleased to announce that the charity that Kristen's Custom Creations will be featuring for the month of February is Apraxia-Kids.

Thank you to Kim Rieck for providing resources for Apraxia-KIDS. I have designed a necklace specifically for this organization and will have it available for viewing on my blog next week. As I have mentioned before my goal is to bring awareness and raise money every month for a different charity. Below is some information on Apraxia KIDS. Please also visit their site http://www.apraxia-kids.org/

Apraxia of speech, also known as verbal apraxia or dyspraxia, is a speech disorder in which a person has trouble saying what he or she wants to say correctly and consistently. It is not due to weakness or paralysis of the speech muscles (the muscles of the face, tongue, and lips). The severity of apraxia of speech can range from mild to severe.

p.s. Thank you to everyone for your suggestions this was a tough decision.
