I Scream, You Scream we all Scream for Ice Cream!!

With Summer officially here I wanted to share some summer time memories and giveaway some Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

As a kid I can remember how excited I was when our local city pool opened. Once the pool opened it meant summer was officially here. I spent most days at the pool with neighborhood friends. We had a group that would walk up to the pool and stay all day. We stayed in that pool until we were completely water logged most days until it was closed. We would then walk home all together only to do it again the next day. On they way home there was a house that every summer had the most gorgeous daisies and I would pick just a few to give to my mom. The other day I driving by that same house and I saw the same home owner outside still tending to her daisies. I bet she has no idea the memories that her daisies have brought.

Ok so to win the Ben and Jerry's Ice cream all you need to do is leave me a comment with your favorite summer time memories. Two lucky winners will each win two coupons for two pints of ice cream. I will announce the winner on Tuesday June 24th.

Moby Wrap Gift Basket Giveaway!!!!

For any new mom a baby carrier is essential. When Will was a baby he had colic for about 5 months and wanted to be held constantly. I found that I just needed to be hands free at times so a baby carrier was ideal. I could now go shopping and he was happy as could be as long as he was nice and close. It is believed that wearing your baby will build a stronger bond and help their long term development. Oh do I miss being able to use my baby carrier with Will.

I was so honored when http://www.mobywrap.com/ asked me to participate in their Gift Basket Giveaway. You could win one of my necklaces and many other great items. To enter please just click on this link http://www.mobywrap.com/t-GiftBasket.aspx

I Love You More....

Will and I have a game we play where we go back and forth saying, "I love you" and one of us usually says "I love you more" and if I say it back he gets really serious and says, "No Mama I love you more". I know it is silly but every time we do it I think to myself that this is a moment I would like to keep forever. I have been asked where I find my inspiration for new designs well it is the little moments with Will that inspire me. I designed the "I Love You More" necklace as my reminder. I wanted this piece to be very unique so you will see that it has a new chain that I just love. The "I Love You More" necklace is available in my shop and was made with love! http://www.klacustomcreations.etsy.com

The "I Love You More" necklace is a 1 inch sterling silver disc with the words "I Love You More" hand stamped around the outer edge of the disc. The sterling disc hangs on a beautiful chunky sterling silver 18 inch chain and includes an artisan crafted sterling silver heart. Artist note: The letters on this disc have been hand stamped one at a time. I do not use machines. The letters will not line up perfectly and are not meant to this is part of the charm that makes your piece one of a kind. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same. The charm has been slightly brushed and the letters have been oxidized/antiqued to make them stand out it will appear to be aged or slightly tarnished but has been given a good polish. A new piece from the Artisan collection..

It has been a very busy month but I still squeezed in some time to create a few new pieces. The "Love,Faith,Hope" of my Artisan collection is a new piece. What I love about this piece is the cross charm that is in the middle of the disc. The cross charm is hand made and sterling silver. I have very limited quantities so when these sell out they will be gone. Stay tuned for more pieces in my Artisan collection. For more information on this piece please visit http://www.klacustomcreations.etsy.com
Artisan jewelry dates back as far as 7000 BC when gold and copper began to be sculpted to adorn the human form and the practice continues today. Artisan jewelry is not machine made and is unique and one of a kind no two pieces will ever be the same.

Is that ice cream???

Nope it is snow from the deck (don't worry it wasn't yellow) We made sure it was very fresh snow. Will kept saying he wanted to play with the snow and we just didn't feel like putting him in his snowsuit, so we brought some snow in. I have to say he was delighted but I didn't think he would eat it! Now all he wants to do is get snow from our deck. Don't kids enjoy the free stuff more than anything!
