Coffee or Chocolate

If you had to give up Coffee or Chocolate for one year which would you give up?

Hands down it would be chocolate for me, I just couldn't survive with out coffee. I love my coffee, the stronger the better but I do take cream in my coffee.

Aloha Friday: Harry Potter

Are you a Harry Potter fan?

Will is crazy about Harry Potter so we have been having a movie marathon trying to watch all of the movies before the final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows comes out next week. I have to admit I wasn't a big fan but find the movies intriguing, I am now a Harry Potter fan.

Aloha Friday: 3D Movies

We are huge Cars fans in our house and plan on seeing Cars 2 this weekend. It is at our local IMAX in 3D.

Q. Do you like watching movies in 3D? Are you planning on seeing Cars 2?

A. I actually don't really like it and would prefer watching movies in 2D.

Look who has some new specs!

Will failed his eye exam at school so we had him checked out at the eye doctor and sure enough he needed glasses. We had no idea and are very thankful that we caught this as one eye is very weak and needs to do some catching up.

Q. When was the last time you had your eyes checked and do you wear glasses?

Are you a Happy Camper?

Do you like to camp?

I do but roughing it for me is doing so in a camper. We spent a lot of family vacations in a camper like the above.

Favorite vacation spot...

We didn't go on Spring Break but I really wish we had. I am dreaming that we are at my favorite vacation spot Anna Maria Island, Florida. Of all the places we have visited it is my favorite and we hope to return soon.

I am looking forward to...

It is still pretty cold in Michigan but I am really looking forward to Summer. I can not wait for these flowers to be in full bloom. I don't know a lot about gardening, my philosophy is if you plant it and it comes back or stays alive plant more of it.

Yesterday I was at our Fruit Market and they actually had Holiday wreaths on one side of the entrance and the other side pumpkins.... no kidding.

Do you think it is too early to decorate for the holidays?

Aloha Friday: Something very annoying...

Something I find very annoying is when people talk on cell phones while at a restaurant. I mean do I really want to hear your drama and smacking at the same time while I am trying to enjoy my meal?

Are you a cat or a dog person?

We now are both we just rescued this cute little kitty and we are loving him and I think he thinks we are ok too.

First JOB...

Aside from babysitting my very first J-O-B was a Santa's helper at Jacobson's, sadly it is no longer around in our area.

What was your first job?

Something I said I would never do...

I have learned in life to NEVER say Never. I once said I would NEVER be a stay at home mom (technically I guess I am a WAHM), boy was I wrong about that one. Since becoming a Mom I have learned to Never say Never under any circumstances, since I do many things I said I would NEVER do.

Question: Tell me about something you said you would NEVER do.

Reality????

I can't say I watch much reality TV but from time to time I do catch an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. I think I mainly like it to see the California life style. I think when you know the camera is rolling it isn't truly real.

I actually have several, Patrick Jane from the Mentalist, Michael Weston from Burn Notice and Jack Bauer from 24.

The Flash

Will kinda has a love for superheroes and has been spending as much time as possible in his Flash costume, which BTW I searched high and low to find for him! I am hoping his costume will hold up until Halloween.

Halloween hasn't even arrived yet and so many of my customers are already starting their Holiday shopping. I have to admit it sneaks up on me every year but this year I am going to start it a bit sooner.

What is the last movie you saw and did you like it?

The last movie I saw was Mama Mia, and I liked it, especially the music. I love ABBA...... ABBA always puts me in a good mood!
