Contest closed: Fashion Friday: Blush GIVEAWAY!!!

The winner of the Blush Topless Undershirt is Firefly-shop.org Congratulations!!!!

I always love discovering fashion items that solve a fashion dilemma, don't you? I love wearing long shirts and the longer the better! Do you have shirts that you love but they are shorter or maybe you are long waisted and even the longer shirts are short on you? Maybe you are pregnant and would like to get a bit more wear out of your pre-maternity clothes? I have a solution for you!

Blush Accessories welcomes you to a product that helps adjust the clothes you already have to fit you perfectly. This is a shirt that is to be worn like a tube top, but around the waist. The shirt is made of a poly/rayon/spandex blend, allowing a huge amount of stretch and great support.

If you love the look of layering without adding the extra bulk and straps, this is a product for you. Unlike a tank top or long shirt, it does not have straps which cause your undershirt to constantly ride up. It stays put without having to always readjust. Without straps, you are not limited to where the length of your shirt falls. You can adjust to any length, whether you want it to go just over the top of your pants or all the way down to your thigh. For all your favorite shirts that have shrunk in the dryer, don't throw them away! Just add a {topless undershirt} and you still have the length of the shirt you bought it as.

Blush Topless Undershirt in Hot Pink

FOR MATERNITY As bodies change, it is nice to have an accessory that helps your clothes adapt to your ever-changing shape. Keep the wardrobe you already have and use the {topless undershirt} to help cover your belly as your shirts start to ride up. If you are at the stage where you are unbuttoning the top of your pants, use the undershirt single layered or doubled over to help hold them up and hide your exposure! This way you can wear the jeans you already have before having to wear maternity ones. If you are planning to nurse, continue to wear the undershirt so you can lift your shirt without exposing your tummy and back. This product helps add extra support and add a variety of outfits to your wardrobe.

The Blush Topless Undershirt is available here at just $15. Special discount offer: receive 20% off the purchase of 2 or more Topless undershirts use code: welovebloggers

Thousand Words Thursday: What a tease!!

Last week we had one day that was amazing, 65 degrees and sunny! It was a day that we spent outside blowing bubbles, mowing the lawn and just kicking back! This week is another story we have had rain and cold. I can hardly wait for spring and just can't wait for everything to be green.

Almost every morning Will asks me if it is summer yet, I so wish I could tell him yes!

Michele's Story as she tells it.....

Michele age 12 and Sunny age 4

Often I am deeply touched by a customers story and this makes the piece I create that much more special. I created the "Sunny" necklace below for Michele in honor of Sunny. Please read Michele's story about Sunny as she tells it:

Michele's Story... As she tells it!

When I was 8 years old my mom surprised me with a puppy! We named her Sunny because of her blonde coat. Sunny was adopted from the Jefferson County Animal Shelter in Port Townsend, Washington on September 9, 1999; they estimated she was only 2 months old. Her breed was a Labrador dog mixed with a Mastiff dog.

My brother, who was 7, and I learned all about the responsibilities of pet ownership. We fed her, bathed her, played with her and helped with training her. We were also able to teach her tricks like speak, shake paws, rollover, and to beg on up on her hind legs.

Over the years we moved many times. Our constant companion was our dog Sunny. My mom taught us very early on that pet ownership is a lifetime commitment and is to be taken very seriously. Sunny would always be a member of the family and not ever given away because of the inconvenience of a move.

Sunny grew to be a large dog. At her strongest point, she weighed 123 pounds. Although she was too strong for us to walk her, mom and dad had too, we sure enjoyed playing with her at the beach, in the rivers and hiking in the hills.

About two years ago the vet told us she had diabetes. This is when my brother and I learned the meaning of sacrificing to care for a pet you love. Sunny had a new, special diet. She had to receive two injections a day of insulin. We never left her alone unless it was absolutely necessary because she would sometimes have seizures and she needed us.

This past January we kissed our Sunny goodbye. It was very difficult for all of us. I missed her so much that I decided to return to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter to not only thank them for the precious gift of Sunny, but to see if I could share some of my love for dogs with the homeless animals at the shelter.

I became a volunteer at the shelter and the staff was grateful for my time and efforts. I decided to take my advocacy a step further and I gained permission from my school to change my senior project to fundraising efforts for the animals and raising awareness of the needs of this shelter in the community. In Sunny’s sweet memory I am happy to be a voice for the homeless animals.

I am pleased to announce that I am teaming up with Michele in her efforts to raise money for The Jefferson County Animal Shelter. For every "Woof" necklace, which can be customized or for each NEW Pet Tag that is purchased I will donate 10% of proceeds to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.

Parenting philosophy.... hmmmmmm, just to take each day and each test as it happens... Favorite stores to shop at:

jcpenneys, old navy, aeropostale, and i just bought my first pair of american eagle jeans and love them!!!!

Other good stuff from Laura:

I am an animal lover, a mother, a sister, a friend, an aunt. I love the beach and everything about it... even the sand! I was born and raised in the south and have no intentions of leaving. Thousand Words Thursday: The germ freak visits Chuck E Cheese's

Will went to Chuck E Cheese's for the first time, it was for my nephews 5th Birthday party. Will had so much fun he was running around clapping his hands! I think his Dad had just as much fun. For me it was a experience! I am a germ freak so I felt like I was being forced to do an OCD exercise. You know where they make you lick say trash to get over your fear. I also had the pleasure of climbing up in those tubes that are attached to the ceiling, since Will wouldn't come down and someone had to go get him! All I can say is that is was really STINKY up there and I don't want to know why.

We also went to Build-A-Bear it was a surprise present for my nephew, and guess what Aunt Kristen made a 5 year old very happy! Will now has a Batman Build-A-Bear to add to his collection.

Take a guess how long it will be before we return to Chuck E Cheeses again?
