My Journey to finding Joy................(and it includes a Giveaway!!!!!)I didn't create a long list of resolutions this year but the one thing I am aiming to do is find more JOY, and that even includes the very small things in life. Each day passes by in warp speed so I want to relish some very simple moments. Perhaps I will find JOY in a perfect cup of coffee, a simple I love you from Will, giggling for no reason or a simple smile from a stranger. Outside of the usual things that bring me joy--my husband and our two precious cats--I found joy by making a big batch of Nuts and Bolts snack mix for my husband and coworkers (I don't eat it, myself). Sometimes the things you do for others are the most satisfying. :-)

Great blog.
I spent some days with my family this week away skiing and playing in the snow, my kids first time, we live in Southern California-doesn't snow at our house. It brought me a lot of joy to see my kids so happy.

Oh this one's easy! My boyfriend called me today!!!! I can't call him because he's in the army in South Korea so it's always a great joy when he calls me. daydreamsinbubbles(at)hotmail(dot)com :) :) :)
What brought me joy? Spending today with my sweet mom. I go to college 2,000 miles away, and I only get to see her every 3-4 months. I miss her! And today was just lovely :)

I celebrated my 15th Wedding Anniversary yesterday-so of course that brings me great joy! Hubbie and I were married young and lots of people said we'd never last. But here we are 15 years later. we have had 3 beautiful children and we love each other more than the day we said I DO.

Hi, Kristen! What brought me joy this week was seeing my kitty Michael, after having to be away from him for two weeks. John and I were at his bone marrow transplant / cancer center, and also at the American Cancer Society Lodging (Hope Lodge) for about two weeks, and coming home after picking up Michael and spending time with him brought me great joy!

kristen, one question please that i need clarified. thanks, honey. you say: "extra entries: (leave a comment for each extra entry)"
So my question is this: If something is worth more than two entries, do you fill out two comments or one? Let me give you an example, please. Following you on Twitter is worth 2 extra entries. So do we leave one comment or two? I am guessing one entry, as I did leave, but I just wanted to clarify, as I am a little confused from your wording!

My father in law had broken his foot about 8 weeks ago and has been walking with his boot and his crutch lately, well Monday I came in for work and saw he was wearing his normal shoe without the boot and walking great without the crutch! It gave me such joy to know that the Lord has blessed him with a speedy recovery!

Two weeks ago, I took my ring off when I was playing the organ at church and left it on the organ. When I returned to look for it-it was gone. This Sunday it was found and returned to me. Joy, joy, joy!

Yesterday morning the temperature here (Midwest) was 50 degrees higher than it had been just 24 hours earlier. It went from -20 degrees to +30! It brought me much joy!!
