What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure has to be TV. We happen to really like TV in our house and even have a TV in the bathroom and kitchen. During the day Will really dominates the TV but once he is fast asleep I fire up my shows. My favorite show this summer has to be True Blood, and it is so good that I feel like it is a guilty pleasure.

Random Silliness
I am thinking he didn't like the email he got? This is a old keyboard and he insisted on taking it in the car. I gave in, I just wanted to get the show on the road!
I think the random silliness is what makes a ordinary day extraordinary!

How did you start blogging?
I’ve always loved writing. I made a decision on New Year’s Eve 08 to commit to writing in some form at least 3-4x weekly in 2009. I thought the blog forum would be a great way for my family and friends to keep up with us. I also felt I would be more accountable to my writing commitment with this forum. Now I’m hooked!
If you are a parent do you have a parenting philosophy?
*Never lose faith in yourself. *If you can believe it, you can achieve it.
*The Golden Rule ~ Treat others as you would like to be treated.
*Don’t be afraid to speak your truth even if it’s unpopular.
I am here to create a structured, loving place for my kids to discover who they are, surround them with love and teach them to be self sufficient, loving human beings. I want them to be proud of who they are, healthy and live life with joy.
You will never find me without......

Featured And Something New....
I also have something new in my shop! A very good friend of mine is expecting her third child and wanted a special necklace to brag about her upcoming bump and so the "Expecting" necklace has been created just for her and now is also available in my shop HERE. The "Expecting" necklace has been handstamped with my new lowercase fancy script font, has the birthstone for the month the baby is due and a tiny disc that has a set of sweet baby feet stamped. The best part about this necklace is that you can add a name disc or tag after the baby is born and continue to add to the piece.

Aloha Friday! If you had a million dollars....
Do you ever daydream and think about what you would do if you hit the lotto or came into a lot of money, say millions? I do this from time to time and the one thing top on my list is a beach house where my view would be this. I would love to wake up every morning to this view from my bedroom. This picture was taken on a vacation we took many years ago on Ann Maria Island, Florida, one of our favorite spots to vacation. There is something captivating about the ocean. A girl can dream right?
So here are my questions:
If you came into millions what would be top on your list?
If I did move to the ocean do you think I would take it for granted and some days not even step foot on the beach?

A time when things were more simple..
We are fortunate to live very close to The Henry Ford, it is such a great place to step back in time. You can see in the pictures that Will was really enjoying playing with some good old fashioned toys, you know the kind made of wood and that do not make any NOISE! Don't you find that kids often have the most fun with simple things like empty boxes and laundry baskets.
Tell me is your house loaded with some plastic toys that make noise? Unfortunately ours is.

Wordful/Wordless Wednesday
A little soap, water and some elbow grease and Will had his entire fleet of cars squeaky clean. My designated job was to rinse!
Will and I spent hours cleaning his toys and had a blast. I hope Will's childhood is chalked full of lasting fond memories.
When is the last time you did something so simple yet so FUN?

Take me out ot the ball game....
We took Will to a baseball game and the kiddos even got to run the bases. Will had so much fun running the bases that he wanted to do it again and again. We had our share of hot dogs, pop, pretzels, ice cream, and purchased some souvenirs. I think we did our part in stimulating the economy. What I find the most fun is the people watching, some go for the game I go for the food and people watching!
When is the last time you went to a baseball game?

How did you start blogging?
I moved to the Faroe Islands to be with my husband who is Faroese, and many of my friends and family were asking a lot of questions of about the Faroe Islands. So I thought instead of answering the same questions 1000 times, I might as well create a blog where everyone can go, and see for themselves.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Blogging has definitely taken a lot of my time, so right now I think I need to be careful with my time management. But the most important thing for me when I blog is to share my life here in the Faroe Islands first with my family and friends, and second to other people in the world.
You will never find me without......

Aloha Friday....
Summer happens to be my favorite season and it just may be because I have so many fond memories of summer with friends at our local pool. I remember spending most of the summer up at our local pool, we would all walk up as a group and stay until closing most days. We didn't have a care in the world. When I see Will having fun like the above picture it reminds of the innocence of being a child and the sheer joy in the simplest things, like a garden hose and sweet, sweet pup!
What is one of your fondest childhood memories?

A Thousand Words Thursday... I love you more than chocolate!
Will has a true love for chocolate and will do just about anything for some chocolate. The first thing he asks for when he wakes up in the morning is chocolate. I like chocolate but Will LOVES chocolate. Most days Will is sporting a chocolate mustache. You know some people just really, really love chocolate!
Very often my inspiration for new pieces comes from the little guy, the little things he says. One day he was telling me that he loves chocolate (just in case I didn't know) and I asked him if he loves it more than anything in the world and he said "No, I love you more than chocolate but I really, really do love chocolate too" It sometimes is something so simple that inspires me and this holds special meaning for me to it has been put to metal!
I have added it to my shop HERE.

Wordful/Wordless Wednesday
Meet Miss Molly! My parents were on vacation and we took care of Molly for them. Will has been wanting to have a sleepover will Molly for a while now. Will loves Molly since she plays with him, follows him around the house, and in the morning will not come downstairs until he is awake. I think he has a bit of a crush on her. He kept screaming, "I love you Molly!" Poor Kane got his nose a bit out of joint and was happy when Molly had to go home, Will on the other hand was deeply saddened when Molly went home. I think Molly was also glad to go home after dealing with Will climbing all over her and hugging her non-stop!
