ReplyDeleteThanks! I LOVED the trip down memory lane! I had many Strawberry Short Cake dolls, was NKOTB biggest fan, always thought & still do think Bon Jovi is HOT, still use the word NOT and much more! LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the trip down memory lane. I also remember the show Video Hits and watching my first video (it was probably Thriller). I remember wearing at least 50 plastic bracelets on each wrist (You can thank Madonna for that rend), I also remember pinning the bottoms of my jeans so they were extra tight and putting little beads on safety pins and attaching them to the laces of our shoes (we were so cool!). I remember grabbing my tennis racket and rocking out to 'I Wear My Sunglasses At Night', I mean who didn't love Corey Hart?. And of course who could forget 'The Brat Pack'...Molly Ringwald(she was my hero), James Spader, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Emilio Estavez, Demi Moore, and Jude Nelson (he was hot in The Breakfast Club).

ReplyDeleteMy daughter wears her hair with a side ponytail sometimes (well not directly on the side but close enough LOL) and I look at her and think why does it look so cute on her but so stupid on me LOL!!!!
I do remember almost everything on that list...I still say 'What you talkin' about, Willis?' and Princess Nagger looks at me like I'm nuts. But she's started the 'Psych!' mode.... ;)
