What I am reading right now...
I know, I know I am a bit behind the curve but I am just about wrapping up reading Eclipse and yesterday picked up the "Special Edition" of Breaking Dawn (had a cheesy poster and DVD so that wasn't anything special) I am quite bothered that one of my 4 books is in hardcover and the remaining three are paperback, but I could have worse problems. I need to find a new fabulous series to pick up so that leads me to my questions:
What are you reading right now?
Is it as good as the Twilight Saga?
What book do you have on deck next?
Last but not least are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
For more fab questions please visit islandlife808.com
1. Robinson Crusoe (in Spanish)
ReplyDelete2. No
3. Ann Frank's diary (in Spanish)
4. Team Edward
Oh what fun!!
ReplyDeleteIt bothers me when my series books aren't in the same form too. I would rather read in paperback form myself, much more portable!
To answer your ?'s
What are you reading right now?
I'm reading through everything written by Charlaine Harris at the moment. I love her books!! Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire (HBO's True Blood) series (I'm on book 5 or 9), Lily Bard Shakespeare series (I'm on book 4 of 5), Harper Connelly who can find dead people (I've read all 3)and Aurora Teagarden, a librarian who can solve crimes (I haven't started this one yet)
Is it as good as the Twilight Saga?
Oh YEAH...even better IMHO!!
What book do you have on deck next?
The library called me to pick up Dead as a Doornail...Southern Vamp series #5 so I'll be starting that today!
Last but not least are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
I wouldn't kick either one of them but I switch teams after each book so I guess I'm not a great team player anyhow!
I haven't read the Twilight series. I know, I know, I'm like the only woman in the world who is not in love with Edward. I haven't had time to read any books. I prefer to read autobiographies. I think there is an interesting one out about the Bush family. I will have to check out the library. Aloha and take care.

Am I the only one NOT reading the Twilight series? I think so! :(
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
I loved the twilight series. I got most of the books from the library and a friend. Then I won the last book in a giveaway. I hope to someday own all of them. We shall see. I think I am Team Jacob. He is such a sweet person in the books and it fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteI just read The Time Traveler's Wife. I was sad when I was done but I really enjoyed the book. My mind was racing. Have you read it?
Now I am moving onto Julie and Julia. It seems like a good book so far.
I really did enjoy all of the Twilight Series books. I went to read the next book "The Host" but I just could not get into it.
Have a great weekend.
I haven't read that series yet but one of these days...
ReplyDeleteThe last book I read was called Table Manners by Mia King.
I just started Off Season by Anne Rivers Siddons.
I love reading! It's the best part of my day when I crawl into bed before sleeping and read.
What are you reading right now?
ReplyDeleteThe good jogger
Is it as good as the Twilight Saga?
I have not read the saga :)
What book do you have on deck next?
I am not sure what I am reading next.
Last but not least are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Team.. neither.. not that into it.
:)
1) I am reading the SIege.
ReplyDelete2) I have never read the Twilight Saga.
3) Next I will read Outlander.
4) I do not know what: Team Edward or Team Jacob are, sorry!
I love those books, I'm not reading anything now. I kind of do it in stages, for a month or two I read everything I can get my hands on, than I take a small brake :) this is the brake faze LOL
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of questions lol.
ReplyDeleteI just read Twilight earlier this year so you aren't too far behind. I see people reading at least one of the books everywhere I go. I first bought twilight on the cheap in paperback and then once I liked it I was going to buy the rest and ran into the paperback/hardback issue. I ended up buying the 4 book set in hardcover online for less than the 4 books in various formats at the local Barnes and Nobles.
On to your questions LOL.
~Right now I am reading Little Women as part of the Casual Classics Book Challenge.
~It is good but very different than Twilight
~I have a running list of books for various challenges I need to read. I haven't picked the next one quite yet. Probably something on the Chick Lit or General Fiction list that is more current than Little Women.
~Team Edward. Jacob just seems to pathetic to me.
I'm currently reading 3 books:
ReplyDeleteBlack Hills - Nora Roberts
Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austen
Club Dead - Charlaine Harris (3rd in the Sookie Stackhouse series)
I admit... P & P has been nudged to the side and I'm only on chapter 3! But I just got Black Hills from Amazon and when it came I couldn't help but start it.
And as for the Sookie Stackhouse books... I'm burning my way through these very fast. They're pretty good. Have you read them? Or do you watch True Blood? I don't get HBO, so I haven't seen the show. So I thought I'd give the books a try... and so far, so good. They're very easy to read and I like the storyline.
Oh, and I'm Team Jasper ;)
ReplyDeleteoonly recently i got to know about twilight and not sure yet if i will read it.
ReplyDeleteat the moment reading a woman's guide to the earth traditions by vivienne crowely....paganism is an interesting subject.
next on my list is the upanishads...that is to do with yoga philosophy
no idea what the teams are sorry...
Liberty and Tyranny, Mark R. Levin
ReplyDeleteThunderstruck, Erik Larson
Almost done reading Prairie Tale a Memoir by Melissa Gilbert. You really can not compare an autobiography to the Twilight series ;) Next up is Bundle of Trouble by Diana Orgain for a review. After that I hope to finally read The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs. Not sure, but I think team Jacob since that is my son's name.
ReplyDeletetotally not reading - just bought two new books though - have yet to pick them up - can't even recall the titles (so sad) LOVE Twlight - have only read one books since reading that series a year ago (read 4 books in 4 days) Like Sally said - those Sookie books are goo d- good and naughty! Now that the kids are back to school - I have free time - I think. And I am so Team Jacob!
ReplyDeleteI've read the first three Twilight books, but haven't picked up the fourth book yet. Soon...
ReplyDeleteI also just finishing reading "Too Small To Ignore" (which was excellent).
