Thousand Words Thursday: Happenings at the Estate
Just a few pictures from The Henry Ford Estate, the former home of Henry Ford. The Peony's were beautiful and the picture just doesn't do justice. I love that shot of Will, he looks all grown up (sniff, sniff)
Does anyone have any idea what kind of bird that is? I have never seen a bird like this in Michigan.
Just a few days left to enter my Father's Day giveaway for either a hand stamped key chain or custom golf ball marker, enter HERE!! Happy Thursday friends!

ReplyDeleteHe is growing up fast!!!
ReplyDeleteI think will is thinking: "Good morning ladies, any friend of mommy's, is a friend of mine!!" :) no sure what the bird is Kristen? :(
ReplyDeleteThe peony's do look beautiful and Will does look like a such a big boy in that picture. It is funny how certain outfits, facial expressions and posses can really make kids look older...and freak their mommy's out a little bit!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics. My brother and sil got married in the rose garden there, quite lovely!! Maybe that is a white breasted nuthatch?? Your son is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHe does look so grown up! The flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Looks like a really cool place.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I rejoined the MBC Follow me club. :) but my url is different now. Looking forward to catchin' up.
ReplyDeleteOh! What wonderful pictures!
ReplyDeletei grew up in Romeo and we had a peony garden like this that i loved as a child... especially as they were just getting ready to pop with the ants all over them... i think the original owners of our house who planted them modeled it after this estate... thanks for bringing back such fond memories.
ReplyDeleteThose Pictures are fabulous! I haven't seen True Blood yet, but it looks so good!
