Ok so my design would be for me. And I would have my favorite love saying "All Because Two People Fell In Love" and that would be Handstamped. Then I would add 2 charms; they would be the birthstone jewels for both of my children.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite piece from Kristen's Etsy shop is: Custom Personalized Hammered and Hand Stamped Mommy Necklace!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kristen! My mother passed away 3 yrs ago at the age of 57. I miss her terribly! I would want to honor her memory and also honor me being a mom. I would design a necklace with "Mom" on the back and her birth date. "Blessed Mom" on the front and two tags with my children's names on them. I would also want their birthstones and my own Mother's birthstone hanging. Every time I would wear the necklace I would remember how blessed I was to have a special mom, how blessed my kids were to have their "Nonnie" and how blessed I am to be their mom.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful contest!!!
Hand Stamped Lucky Mom With Name Tag Necklace is my favorite. I would have to add two more tags to it for my 2 other kids. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter left home a few months ago in rebellion. She barely speaks to us. We are lost and don't know what to say or do.
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I would make a necklace for her. It would have her birthstone and would say...to the moon and back.
When she was little, we would "fight" over who loved who more...she would say..I love you to the moon and back.
I've been a big fan of Kristen's designs for a long time! I think I'd like to design one that had my 3 boys' initials on a disk...maybe with a charm or "mom" rectangle. Great contest! Happy Mother's Day (early). :)

ReplyDeleteI love the Grande Single Initial Sterling Silver Necklace
ReplyDeleteYAHOO! Please count me in :)

Oh what a fun contest!!! I love being a mom and the beach and the starfish story...where the little boy is walking on the beach and there are thousands of starfish and he is picking them up one by one and throwing them back in the water. His friend says, "there are thousands out here, why are you even bothering to throw them back in the water?" He replies, "because it matters to that one". LOVE that story!!! So my necklace would be a round tag that has "You matter to me" stamped around the edge, a small starfish charm on top of it and then two rectangle charms with my kids' names on them. That would be an amazing necklace and I would wear it all of the time!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth of you rock!!!! Happy early Mother's Day!!!
In my head, it makes total sense and I hope you understand my rambling… I would have a theme of Mothers through Generations….
ReplyDeleteMy family is Dutch so “Grandma” is “Oma” to us.
My 1 yo dd has the blessed honour of having two Omas, being my mom and my Oma, her great-Oma who is 95 years young… Originally, I would keep the bracelet but once my dd is old enough to appreciate it or has her own daughter, I would pass it on to her.
So, my bracelet design would incorporate four generations of women, mothers in our family…
I was thinking maybe one charm per generation - our names and birthdates on each charm perhaps the layered charm. What a great contest and thnx for considering my entry, I love your work!
Oh yes, my favourite piece from your Etsy shop is the Lucky Mom charm ... lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love hammered mommy necklaces!!! I wwant one!!
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE your beautiful pieces and have thought a lot about what i would want on a necklace. The sad thing is, I would love one of the ones with the kids' names and the charms, but how the heck would you do NINE kids? Then, I thought, what if I had a charm bracelet made and had one made per kid with the bead???? That would be really cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!
I would choose the Personalized Hand Stamped Tag Necklace and add a second tag. I would then add my childrens birthstones. Maybe even a third tag for my husband since he's my third child. thanks
ReplyDeleteMoms love=infinity
ReplyDeletewhat a fab contest and wonderful tribute
Mom ~ Strength of Our Family
ReplyDeleteThey all are sooooo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy friend, Molly, has often admired my "Inspire" necklace by Kristin. So, if I could design one, I think I'd pick one that had "Ryan" and a heart stamp. (Molly is my friend who lost her son Ryan last fall. I think she would love this.)
ReplyDeleteI love your necklaces.
ReplyDeleteMine would say something like Crazy Mommy. Because I am. Or something like Mommy Can't Cook. Because I can't.
I would love a custom one that has both of my children's names on it
ReplyDeleteI like the tag necklace. I'd have my son's first initial stamped at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteI would like a large silver disc that says "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you are the world" and then a smalled disc on to with my son's name.

I would work with her to make one for my husband. I would like it to say something personal from me to him. I don't see many of these handstamped for men and that is what I would like.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I had to think and dig around a bit. I'd like a disc with the cute footprints in the middle, then the MIDDLE names of each child around the edge. I'd also like to add a long charm that has their 4 birthstones on it.
ReplyDeleteI want one of these SOO bad! I'd pick the

Lately it seems like so many things are chaging in my life and my family and really around the world. So I LOVE this saying...it really means a lot to me right know in the middle of everything..
ReplyDeleteFamiles are Forever.
I like something simple, just like the Hand Stamped Love necklace. My design will be for my mum. I want to have a hand stamped necklace with these words : a simple yet meaningful " I love you Mum". I'm not used to express my feelings, so this will a better alternative for me. And the necklace should be adorned with a November birthstone, because my mum's birthday is in the month of November.

Being a mother is a wonderful thing but it is not always easy and sometimes very hard. I would love a tag that says "A Mother's Love Always Endures" that could be personalized with a photo charm and birthstone(s) for the children. Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteI would like a round washer with my 2 son's names stamped, separated by hearts, then a pearl dangling in the middle. I love these necklaces!
ReplyDeletebriahnabushman@gmail.com
I'd love to make a necklace that said "wish" on it with a dandelion charm. I used to love making wishes before blowing dandelions as a kid--brings back a lot of fond childhood memories and reminds me of the innocnece of being a child (especially now that I am mom)
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought that this would be easy! :) Many designs have run through my mind, but the one that stands out the most is one of my favoite Scripture verses. Phil 4:6-7. It talks about how we are not to worry or be anxious, but to allow Jesus to guard our hearts and our minds in Him. As a mom, I lean upon this Scripture a lot!
ReplyDeleteSo, I believe that I would have the Scripture ref. stamped on the back and on the front I would like to have the words "My peace & blessings come from Him alone". And underneath, (if there's room :) ) my children's names of course. With a simple "diamond" hanging on it as well. This would represent my mom, who passed away 3 yrs ago. She is the one who showed me what being a true Christian mom is.
Thank you for doing this!
*I discovered your blog through my sister, Keli @ dreamimaginelive.blogspot.com
Kristen, can you please go to my blog, whileiamwaiting423.blogspot.com to make sure that I linked my blog to your's correctly? I'm so new at this and I want to make sure I did it all correctly!
ReplyDeleteI would have a necklace saying "Always, Forever, No Matter What" to celebrate 40 years of marriage to my wonderful husband. (This would also make a wonderful gift for a beloved child or grandchild.)
ReplyDeleteI like the mom 2 be one for me (selfish i know) or maybe I'd get one with my husband's name and my name and 2gether 4ever or something like that! I love your stuff!
ReplyDeleteI would put a word charm saying "First" together with the map coordinates of where my kids were born (both in the same hospital, so it works) then with their birth stones. It would commemorate the first moment with them and the coordinates because even if the hospital were to close or move, it's the point where they were first in the world.

ReplyDeleteI would design one that would say "Evelyn" for my grandmother who passed a couple years ago, and add her birthstone, the Peridot and have this as a necklace. As much as I would want it for myself I would give this to my mother for Mother's Day. =)
