Santa is scary....

Will has always been afraid of Santa but each year he is a little less afraid. This year he actually smiled for the picture. We didn't intend on seeing Santa but when there wasn't a line at our local museum we seized the opportunity. I am a bit disappointed that Will wasn't dressed up but he does have his favorite shirt on. I am pleased that Santa told him to brush his teeth, clean up after himself and listen to his Mom and Dad. All I need to do is remind him of our visit with Santa when he starts to protest and it stops, I will take this as long as I can!

Are you kiddos scared of Santa?

  1. I've stopped bringing them until they get a little older. The pictures were great for worst Santa pictures. Or if I wanted to be funny with peace and joy Christmas cards.

  2. My kids have always been terrified, so I didn't even bother last year. I thought this year would be ok, but my 4 year old wouldn't go near him.

  3. My oldest never believed in Santa. She saw Santa in a store when she was little and said, "why is that man dressed up like Santa?" LOL. Subsequently, none of my kids believed. That's just as well as Santa is on a budget in my house. lol

  4. My oldest (4) is not afraid of Santa, though he was a bit timid at 2 and 3, this year he was just thrilled to see him. My 1 year old seemed mostly indifferent about the whole thing.

  7. This was the first year we even attempted Santa... and my son wanted nothing to do with him. I stood next to Santa with Aiden on the other side and we snapped the picture. Now that the 'real' santa is no where near him Aiden LOVES his picture with Santa. lol silliness.

  9. Princess Nagger hasn't been afraid of Santa - but the first couple of years she just stared at him like he was from outer space! :)

  10. I don't have any kids yet. My oldest niece was terrified when she was younger, my nephew says he wants nothing to do with the silly man in the red suit and my youngest niece just loves to take pictures, so she's cool with Santa.

  14. You have such a handsome son! And indeed, he doesn't look like he's afraid of Santa Claus. there are kids who are really afraid of Santa Claus and even their town dentist. But as for my son, he's not afraid o everything at all. And he do loves Santa Claus and his dentist (Germantown area) as well. Dentists (Germantown, TN area) have a lot of cool dental services that's why kids and adults keep on coming back to them.
