Will is over the moon about his new bike. This cool bike is a hand me down from some very kind friends, it is a Harley Davidson Chopper bike. When Will saw it he said, "Wow that is the coolest bike in the city, I thought I was going to get stuck with a baby bike!"
Seeing his face light up reminded me of my yellow banana seat bike. I remember thinking I had the coolest bike in town, it had cool designs on the seat and streamers on the handle bars.
Did you have a banana seat bike?

ReplyDeleteI totally had a banana seat bike. A green Schwinn. (It was my older brother's first.) The seat and the handlebar grips used to sparkle. I LOVED it!

ReplyDeleteI did have a banana seat bike, with a basket, but it was nothing compared to this!
Mine was blue, with clouds on the seat. And it had a little white basket on the front. I loooved it...as much as he's going to love that one, I'd imagine.
