Meet Flappy!

Last weekend I went to Joanne Fabrics and Will and John went to Petco and little did John know that Will had been bugging me to adopt a cat but he graciously settled for a betta fish, thank goodness. I think Kane's nose would have been out of joint if we had brought a cat into the house. Who would have known that Flappy would make him so happy, but he is surprised that he doesn't do much. Guess who will be responsible for cleaning up after this new pet? Do you know what pleases me, Flappy actually matches our home decor, burgundy fish and burgundy fish tank!

Happy Wednesday friends!

  1. I had a beta fish. I loved my fish and it wasn't very difficult to clean his tank. I had a tank for her or him. Loved my fish.

  2. How nice that he matches your decor.

From what I hear, betas are really easy to take care of, too! Much easier than a cat!

  5. That is too funny that he matches your home decor. I'm not a big fan of fish, but I do like beta fish.

  7. Flappy- what a cute fishy name! I hope that you are better at taking care of fish then I am. I do have 2 water frogs that are living forever, though. Our next adventure will be a hamster this summer.
    Happy W.W.!

  10. My husband & I debated back and forth over getting a pet for our daughter. Kittens or goldfish, goldfish or kittens. We went with kittens and we almost wish we had gone with goldfish some days. LOL

    Happy WW to you!
